On a team with very little star power, JJ Redick gives Magic fans a reason to feel excited. He's fun, energetic, charismatic, and not to mention he goes over well with the ladies. In the post-Dwight era you could even argue he's become the most important player on this team. Between his abilities and likeability with the fans, JJ Redick is without question an important cog in the Magic wheel.
All of that is probably why JJ has become a hot name in the NBA trade rumors department. Marc Stein from ESPN reports the Boston Celtics have interest in the Magic shooting guard that "continues to grow". And this was before JJ went off for 31 against the Pistons, and before the Celtics lost Rajon Rondo for the season to an ACL tear.
Given the rebuilding phase the Magic are going through and the growing popularity within league circles of JJ Redick, him being traded is looking less like a possibility and more like an inevitability. So, the question is...
