Some news sources have been quoted in saying that Bob "overstepped his boundaries". Ted Newton (a Romney staffer) tweeted “Shame on NBC & Bob Costas for that embarrassing anti-gun screed,”.
Certainly Bob Costas is entitled to his opinion, but the question is, was that the right time and place? Did Bob Costas abuse his platform on NBC?
