Tim Tebow has a message for those University of Florida fans who think Urban Meyer might be turning him from Gator to Traitor:
Don't be ridiculous.
"My parents are Gators, I was born a Gator, I played for the Gators, I gave my heart to the University of Florida and I'll always be a Gator," Tebow said during a recent phone conversation.
True, true, true Tebow but the man that made you is coaching a new team and sure could use your help up there in Columbus.
Tebow and Meyer won 2 National Titles together, they've trained together, and prayed together. One of Timmy's great strengths is his loyalty and commitment. So, doesn't some (or most) of that belong to Urban Meyer and not the Florida Gators?
In a conflicting statement to the one posted a couple paragraphs up, Tebow has gone on record to say he cheers for the Buckeyes "And I guess as hard as it is for me to say, I am a pretty big fan now of The Ohio State University."
Uh oh Gator fans.
Where does Tebow's loyalty lie?
