Sometimes hype and publicity can outweigh your realistic contributions to the world. Thus being the case for the celebs in the pictures above. Not to say they're not talented (though I will say Kim Kardashian is not), the Beebs has put out some hits, plus he can dance. There's no denying what Tebow did in college and kudos to him for what he did in half a season with the Broncos a season ago, but the trend here is that the hype doesn't match the output of production. I know one person who echoes those sentiments is a man going up against Tebow this weekend in Miami...
Brian Hartline, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins was asked about Tim Tebow and the attention he receives from the media:
"That's you guys, how much you love [him],'' Brian Hartline said of the media attention Tebow receives. "Everybody loves him, but the same people go with the Kardashians. I don't know what they did, either.
"They're on [magazine] covers everywhere. I mean, honestly. I know they're really good people, do a lot of charity work. I just don't know how they got started."
Poll question: Who is the most over-hyped celeb in the world today? I think in 5 years ago Paris Hilton would have run away with this poll, and certainly Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a spot on a poll of this nature for his mega popularity, coupled with being mired in underachievement.
