If you haven't been driven crazy by the back and forth, up and down saga that is Dwight Howard...good for you.
Fortunetly for those that haven't been stricken with apathy, we have a new angle to dissect when it comes to Mr. Howard.
Brian Schmitz wrote a column the other day proposing the idea that the Magic continue to play hardball with Dwight and use every bit of leverage that they have in order to get the very best deal they can.
The only hole in that theory is, while the Magic have some leverage, Dwight has most of it. So, if you're the Magic what do you do? How do you handle this soap opera?
For some Magic fans, the drama might actually feel like the norm right about now. Those fans may think "wait as long as you need to, what's another season of drama at this point?".
For a select few, they maintain hope that if the Magic play chicken, he'll choose to stay for the remainder of his career.
Others will just want the drama to subside by the start of the 2012-2013 campaign.
However, some may not be so patient...
