Jaguars Release Pre-Season Schedule!
Thursday 04-01-2010 1:50pm ET

Jaguars will host Dolphins and Falcons in preseason,

visit Philadelphia and Tampa Bay

The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Falcons at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium in the 2010 preseason. The NFL announced the week-by-week preseason schedules for all 32 teams today. Specific dates and times of each game will be determined and announced later.

The Jaguars will begin preseason play on the road when they travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the first week of the 2010 preseason, which is scheduled for the week of August 12-16. The Dolphins will visit Jacksonville in the second week and the Jaguars will play their other in-state rival when they travel to Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers in the third week. The preseason finale will be played at home against the Falcons the week of Sept. 2-3.

This will mark the eighth consecutive year that the Jaguars will play both the Dolphins and the Buccaneers in the preseason. They have faced the Falcons six times, while last year was the team’s first-ever preseason game against the Eagles. In preseason games the Jaguars are 4-4 against the Dolphins, 5-3 vs. Tampa Bay, 3-3 against Atlanta and 0-1 vs. Philadelphia.

The Jaguars have an overall preseason record of 37-24, including an 18-10 mark under head coach Jack Del Rio. The team has been 3-1 in the preseason in five of seven seasons under Del Rio.

Season is over...
Thursday 01-21-2010 5:35pm ET

The Jaguars season is over. But this off season and the draft are going to be very important for the Jaguars football program. If the Jags cant make it to the post season next year and/or if they have a really bad season (below .500) you can pretty much kiss this team goodbye... The Jacksonville Jaguars will move to a different city where people will come out and see the games. That is where the other half of the problem exists, no fans filling the stadium!

If the Jags are not on TV and the people of Jacksonville and surrounding cities dont show up to the game there is no reason to have this team in the city of Jacksonville. It really sucks because I really do believe that the people and fans here in Orlando would appreciate this NFL franchise. And if this team came to Orlando you can put money on the people of Orlando going out to tail-gate and watch the game. Of coarse we would need a new stadium or re-model the Citrus Bowl, because we all know that stadium is not NFL ready...

And I cant forget to thank Jack Del Rio for returning for another year. It honestly wouldnt make sense to drop Del Rio as head coach and pick someone else up. He did an amazing job with a team that really doesnt have a solid QB. And dont forget they almost made it to the post season. Next year the Jags need a new starting QB and for the damn fans to go to the GAMES! I wont accept anymore blackouts! Come on now the freakin' Bucs had a horrible season 3-13 and they were on TV several times this past season... Get it together Jags fans (mostly those who live in the city of Jacksonville)

Jags are on a playoff run!
Monday 12-07-2009 9:37am ET

Maurice Jones-Drew #32 of the Jacksonville Jaguars is tackled by Bernard Pollard #31 of the Houston Texans during the game at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on December 6, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are playing like a playoff contender. Going into next week with a (7-5) record and playing at home against the HOTTTT Miami Dolphins who just beat the NE Patriots 22-21. If the Jags win this game they are in my opinion a great Wild Card team and shouldnt take anything less than that.
But, they still have to face the undefeated Colts AND the NE Patriots. If the Jags can pull off a win against the Dolphins this week then I really think that they have a fighting chance against the Pats. And the last game of the season is against the boring and horrible Cleveland Brown... should be an easy win. If all things go the way I want them to go the Jaguars should end the season 9-7... maybe 10-6?? Lets just take this one game at a time. I love the win yesturday against the Texans 23-18. The Jags need to get ready for the Dolphins.

Jets and Jags = (4-4)
Saturday 11-14-2009 8:23am ET

I am not a Jets fan. But, I cant help myself from not being a fan of their cheerleaders....

But the Jags cheerleaders are pretty damn HOT!

kelli1.jpg

Especially Kelli. Shes the HOTTEST!

So, anyways back to the football. The Jags are playing against the Jets this Sunday @ 1pm in NY and both teams are even at (4-4). Should be a very interesting game and a great match-up. I am of coarse pulling for the Jags. But, this really is going to be a great game. And a fairly important one at that because going into the next few weeks its very important that the Jags win this game. If all things work out then they will head back home with a (5-4) record and ready to play the boring Buffalo Bills who should give the Jags their sixth win of the season! I am not going to lie I am just a little worried about the Jags beating the Jets especially after barley beating the horrible KC Chiefs last Sunday. So, keep your fingers crossed and hope that MJD tears it up!

After Week 8...
Tuesday 11-03-2009 10:43am ET

Yea I saw what you saw against the Titans BUT lets take a closer look here.  From the start of training camp I thought it would be a nice season if the Jags finished around .500 and so far that's what we are ...a middle of the pack team.  And while were looking at this glass that's half full lets also look at the schedule.  In the next month we face Kansas City, the Jets who are now officially beat-able, and the totally beat-able Bills before heading out west to take on a solid 49ers team.  Did I mention 3 of the 4 games in December at home?  Do you smell playoffs?  Playoffs?!  Did I say Playoffs?!  Alright, alright settle down BUT the message is its not that bad...No one is expecting the Jags to even get to .500 so if we prove the haters wrong I will consider the season a success.  So repeat after me "The glass is half full" and if you want to imagine its half full of beer then fine...whatever floats your boat.  I've got the Jags 21-16 over KC.
Duuuuuuuvaaaaal!
