The UCF men's basketball team is off to a start that no one saw coming. 12-6 overall, 3-3 in the Big 12 with wins over No. 3 Kansas, at Texas, and West Virginia. Any of those victories would have been the win of the year in recent history. However, the Knights with a major opportunity with the level of competition in the Big 12, and they've made the most of overcoming preseason expectations.
"I never really pay attention to wha people think about us. I'm all about our internal expectations and what we think about ourselves... And we never felt that way." Dawkins said on Wednesday on In The Zone regarding the Knights' low preseason national ranking.
