Florida football is thriving right now, and I'm not talking about them Gators.
Both the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up their 6th win of the season on Sunday. The Phins advanced to 6-2 and 4-0 at home with a 31-17 win over the Patriots to complete the divisional sweep, while the Jags overcome a hostile Pittsburgh environment.
This is the first time since 1999 that both the Dolphins and the Jags are 6-2 in their first eight games. Both teams lead their respective divisions in the AFC, and could be a real threat as we progress through the regular season and into the postseason.
