Kravitz Shares His "My Guys" List from the 2023 NFL Draft Class

I have scoured the scouting reports, I’ve dug through the film, and I have uncovered my definitive “dudes” from this year’s draft class. The obvious ones, the first round guys, you’ve heard me talk about them plenty.

I love my top 3 QB’s- Young, Stroud, and Levis. I love the top 2 backs- Bijan and Gibbs. Quentin Johnston is still my favorite wideout. JSN is going to excel in the slot. Zay Flowers should be no later than WR3 off the board. But here’s my list of the next wave of talent…the other dudes I’m planting my flag on so-to-speak.

RB’s- Zach Charbonnet, think James Conner but with more wiggle. Devon Achane, one of the 3 fastest player in the draft. 4.32. He’s a burner. Kick returner, 3rd down specialist, just get him on the field. Tyjae Spears, smaller back but proved he can be a feature guy @ Tulane. One of the elite route runners in the class. Big time threat after the catch. Deuce Vaughn out of KSU, 5’5 179. He’s Darren Sproles 2.0.

WR’s- Jonathan Mingo out of Ole Miss, 6’2 220, built like Michael Thomas. Athletically, he grades out like a top receiver prototype. Phenomenal hands, his catch highlights are Odell like. I’ll always take a shot on guys like that. Cedric Tillman out of UT. I think there’s a chance he’s the better of the 2 between him and Hyatt, he just doesn’t have the freaky speed. Bigger catch radius, 6’3 213. Contested catch beast. Not a lot of big receivers in this draft, so I would target these 2.

DB’s- DJ Turner out of Michigan. Speed for days. 4.26 at the combine. Watch his highlights, it looks like you are watching him in fast-forward. Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson out of TCU, only 5-8 so that’s a concern, but he’s related to LaDianian, so that’s all I need to know about his genetics.

QB’s- Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of UCLA, not only was he productive in college, but he’s got a freaky arm. At the combine, he tied Josh Allen’s record for measured arm velocity. He’s a run threat, he’s played big in big games. Malik Cunningham is an interesting pick too out of Louisville. He’s rough around the edges in terms of his accuracy on deep/sideline throws, but he’s the perfect back up for a mobile QB…think Tyler Huntley.

Couple other favorites: Derick Hall EDGE out of Auburn, Trenton Simpson LB out of Clemson, Zach Harrison EDGE out of Ohio State, Noah Sewell LB out of Oregon.
