Did Dillon Brooks Break "The Code?"

I'm all for physical play in these NBA Playoffs but it seemed as though Dillon Brooks crossed the line last night by winding up and following through on Gary Payton II's head while mid-air in the opening minutes of Game Two. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr voiced his opinion saying that Dillon Brooks broke the code and that it was a dirty play.

GP2 fractured his elbow by bracing his fall after being hit and this is a bigger blow than people realize for Golden State. Gary Payton II has been grinding it out for years before finally finding his niche with the Dubs and it is a shame that he won't be able to make his presence felt in this series. I suppose Jonathan Kuminga could earn more minutes as their "stopper" in Payton's absence. It will be interesting to see how Warriors fans react to Brooks as the series heads to San Francisco (if Brooks isn't suspended.)

In the podcast clip below, Kravitz and I discuss if Brooks crossed the line, Ja's heroics, Celtics bouncing back, among other Playoff themes.
