Cole Anthony Put The Team On His Back!

After being routed in their first two contests, Cole Anthony propelled the Orlando Magic to a signature win at Madison Square Garden over a tough New York Knicks team!

If you watched Orlando's first two games, there weren't a lot of reasons to believe they could go into The Garden and steal a win against a Knicks team who ran the Magic out of their own building in their home opener. However, Cole Anthony took it upon himself to step up his game and deliver a memorable performance in his former stomping grounds.

He had 4 first quarter threes and finished with a final stat line of 29 points, 8 assists and 16 rebounds! Anthony's mother and brother sat courtside in Spike Lee's seats and witnessed an inspiring performance by the Magic second year guard. Jamahl Mosley earned his first NBA win as a Head Coach but reiterated that he's more happy for the guys in the locker room. Coach also mentioned that Cole made his teammates better and that he did..Jalen Suggs looked a lot more comfortable, the brothers' Wagner made some clutch plays, but it was the veteran Terrence Ross who became "The Human Torch" in the 4th quarter where he scored all 22 of his points!

In the podcast clip below, The Bulldog and myself discuss this past weekend's college football themes and the Magic win.
