Is CMC's Injury A Blessing In Disguise For Sam Darnold And The Panthers?

In the first half of Thursday Night Football's "marquee" matchup between the now 3-0 Carolina Panthers and the "expansion-like" Houston Texans, Christian McCaffrey left the game with a hamstring injury and you could hear the cries of CMC fantasy owners across the nation. The Panthers only led 7-6 at the half but won the game 24-9, carried by their defense and Sam Darnold showed poise by throwing for over 300 yards with no interceptions. He also ran in two touchdowns for good measure.

McCaffrey is expected to miss "a few weeks" and the Panthers next four games are against the Cowboys, Eagles, Vikings, and Giants. If Sam Darnold can show he can lead a team through his absence, it might equal a greater impact overall for this Carolina offense when Christian McCaffrey returns.

In the podcast below, Kravitz and myself react to the hamstring injury and the game itself.
