Zion Williamson is giddy after playing @ the Garden in NY and has to catch himself before saying MSG was at the top of his list as far as his favorite places to play. Predictably, the national media went crazy.
It was maybe 2 weeks ago, I was lamenting the fact that our national mid-day host Colin Cowherd was basically contriving a topic around the idea that Zion could be leaving New Orleans soon…even though he’s 2 years into his career. It was wishful thinking, masquerading as a radio topic. I thought it was ridiculous…and it was. However, it is now a real topic. Zion has now played the Knicks twice in one week…the latest coming yesterday when the Knicks beat the Pelicans (@MSG) 122-112 in OT. Here’s what Zion said after the game…
