By now, we all know what Antonio Brown has been through. He forced his way out of Pittsburgh, been accused of sexual assault, dealt a helmet issue in Oakland, forced his way out of Oakland, caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady, called out the Patriots and Robert Kraft, had run-ins with the law, and been arrested. That is the extremely short version of Antonio Brown's life since getting traded out of Pittsburgh.
A day before the Super Bowl, Brown sat down with ESPN's Josina Anderson and discussed a multitude of topics including his sexual assault allegations, time with the Patriots, and his mental health.
Thursday morning, Brown appeared on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh and issued an apology to his former team.
"I apologize to those guys for the distractions, for the unwanted attention I probably caused those guys...to the organization," Brown said Thursday ina wide ranging interview on 93.7 The Fan's morning show with Colin Dunlap. "Obviously you want to clear out any baggage or disrespect or unintended attention that was brought onto the organization. These guys gave me an opportunity when I was 21 years old and I'm forever grateful for those guys...to have the opportunity to not only play with those guys, but to be in so many major moments. We've been through so much, so I am forever grateful and indebted to the Steelers organization, Mr. Rooney, Mike Tomlin, [general manager] Kevin Colbert, Ben Roethlisberger."
