Elfrid Payton spent four years in Orlando, but now he plays for the New York Knicks. It's understandable why he'd be a bit upset but enough to body check somebody? That's next level.
In the final minutes of the Grizzlies-Knicks game Jae Crowder got a steal and went for a step back three pointer. Clearly, Payton wasn't happy about that.
Words were said, shoves happened, but then everything was over and the Grizzlies won the game 127-106. After the game, Marcus Morris made comments about Jae Crowder being "unprofessional and like a woman."
OOF. That's not going over well in 2020. He would later apologize for those comments on Twitter.
