Thought-Provoking Daily Poll: Mikeys State Pro Coach of the Year

The state of Florida has many professional teams throughout the world of sports. While some teams have been disappointing, here are the few that earned their way to be nominated for the Mikeys State Pro Coach of the Year Award.

Steve Clifford came in and turned lead the Magic to their first playoff birth (and even stole Game 1 against the eventual NBA Champion Toronto Raptors) in six years.

While the AAF couldn't make it a full season, Steve Spurrier lead the Orlando Apollos to the best record and was named the league champions by FanDuel.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and head coach Jon Cooper had an incredible season last year, winning the Presidents' Trophy for the first time in franchise history and claiming back-to-back division titles. They also tied a league record with 62 wins.

Amidst all the controversy surrounding the Tampa Bay Rays, manager Kevin Cash has kept his cool. So far this season the Rays sit in second place behind the Yankees and have one of the best pitching staffs in all of Major League Baseball.
