Daily Poll: 2018 MLB Opening Day Storylines are running rampant!

2017 ALCS Game 4: Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees

Happy Opening Day ladies and gents! America's favorite pastime is back on your TV screen later this afternoon and ohhh it feels so good. You know it's baseball season when the weather starts to warm up, the hot dogs start to sizzle, and somewhere in the distance you can hear a man screaming "WHO WANTS PEANUTS, PEANUTS HERE!"...It's a beautiful thing, really.

2017 was a great year for baseball, and 2018's campaign looks to build off that. The sport made new stars that caught the public's eye, like Aaron Judge, Carlos Correa, Nolan Arenado, among others...This year should be no different as Giancarlo Stanton joins the Bronx Bombers, his star will certainly shine brighter than ever before. The Angels brought in a guy that's hailed as the "Japanese Babe Ruth" in Shohei Ohtani, and Bryce Harper will strive to look better than ever in his final season before heading into free-agency.

You've got, I'd say, 11 teams that are seriously in the hunt for a 2018 World Series, and there's always a team that comes out of nowhere. The Astros will look to repeat with their young crop of talent, the Yankees are poised for a 100 win season, the Red Sox look as good as ever, the Dodgers and Cubs will likely battle it out for NL supremacy - and don't sleep on the new-look Giants this year.

It's sure to be an exciting season, what has you the most juiced up on this joyous American holiday?
